In una recente intervista rilasciata a Gametrailers, i ragazzi della Treyarch, hanno rivelato un'inedita, alquanto originale modalità di gioco presente in Call of Duty 5. Portando a termine il gioco in singolo, è possibile sbloccare la "Modalità Zombie", dove ci sarà richiesto semplicemente di eliminare il maggior numero di morti viventi che ci appaiono sullo schermo, un pò come succederà nella modalità orde di Gears of war 2. Di seguito un video dimostrativo.
