MSC Cruises has introduced a groundbreaking accommodation concept with the Grand Hamptons Villa, a two-story family residence set to debut on the line's upcoming flagship, MSC World Atlantic. The vessel will begin sailing from Port Canaveral, Florida, in November 2027, offering alternating seven- and 14-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries that include calls at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, the company's private island in the Bahamas.
Spanning more than 230 square metres of indoor and outdoor space, the villa is designed for up to eight guests and caters to multigenerational families or two families travelling together. Its dramatic double-height living area features panoramic ocean views, a transformative ceiling, and distinct zones for dining, relaxation and play. A private library provides a quiet retreat, while a climbing tower leads to an interactive ship-inspired play area accessed through a secret door that reveals daily surprises.
A dedicated entertainment loft adds a private cinema for family movie nights, a digital gaming table and a LEGO® wall. The expansive private terrace includes a whirlpool, lounge seating and classic deck games, creating an outdoor retreat overlooking the ocean. Accommodation comprises a luxurious primary stateroom with walk-in closet, vanity and private balcony with outdoor shower, a kids' suite with custom bunk beds, individual TV screens and en-suite bathroom, plus a double cabin and separate twin bedroom for added flexibility.
Guests of the villa will receive the full MSC Yacht Club experience, including 24-hour butler and concierge service, access to the Yacht Club's exclusive areas, a dedicated cleaning team, the Premium Extra Drinks package, a Fun Pass, unlimited specialty dining and Wi-Fi. The concept was developed in collaboration with Storyland Studios, drawing inspiration from the timeless elegance of the Hamptons.
Chief executive Gianni Onorato said the villa reflects the company's commitment to evolving its premium family offering as demand for multigenerational travel grows. As a family-owned business, MSC Cruises understands the importance of creating spaces that allow families to maximise their time together while enjoying privacy and flexibility. Bookings for the sole Grand Hamptons Villa on MSC World Atlantic are now open.
