New Sexual Assault Allegations Against Trump Link Him to Epstein

A 53-page report by US House Democrats and fresh testimony from a Swiss woman have reignited serious allegations against Donald Trump, implicating him in sexual assaults tied to Jeffrey Epstein’s criminal activities during the 1990s. The document, released in late October, cites the accounts of eleven women—five of whom accuse Trump of rape or sexual abuse, often in Epstein’s presence or with his involvement.

The Swiss woman, Beatrice Keul, a former banker and model, detailed her experience in 1993, when she was 24. She was invited to a Trump beauty pageant in New York, where she claims she was raped in Trump’s Plaza Hotel suite after being lured with promises of a US visa and a scholarship at New York University. Keul, who had won Vice-Miss Switzerland earlier that year, said her passport was confiscated before the event, trapping her in the situation. She confirmed the report’s accuracy to media outlets, emphasizing her goal is not political but to seek justice through a class-action lawsuit.

The report alleges that Trump and Epstein frequently targeted young women—most in their early 20s—at locations including Mar-a-Lago in Florida, Trump Tower in New York, and Epstein’s office. Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s associate, is also named in the accusations. Two of the women featured in the report were key witnesses in Maxwell’s 2020 trial, where she was sentenced to 20 years in prison for facilitating Epstein’s crimes. Epstein himself died in custody in 2019.

Trump’s White House dismissed the claims as false, though the report’s authors argue the testimonies—combined with Trump’s past denials—suggest he was aware of Epstein’s activities and possibly complicit. The timing of the report coincides with renewed scrutiny over Trump’s ties to Epstein, including a rejected $10 billion defamation lawsuit he filed against The Wall Street Journal over a published letter containing a suggestive drawing. A Florida judge dismissed the case, ruling that such reports—even when disputed—are protected under journalistic standards.

A 2024 account by Keul introduces European details to Epstein’s allegations, expanding the scope of his international network. The report does not address whether these events influenced the upcoming midterm elections, though the timing raises questions about their potential political impact.

Separately, Florida authorities are investigating a 2019 meeting between Epstein and Andrew Balbirnie, a British businessman, at Balbirnie’s Scottish estate, Schloss Balmoral. The probe remains under wraps, with no further details released.
