The Memphis Grizzlies extended their unbeaten streak to 4-0 on Monday night, defeating the Utah Jazz 110-105 behind a strong performance from Cedric Coward. Coward tallied 16 points and 11 rebounds, anchoring a balanced Memphis attack that kept the visiting side ahead throughout much of the contest. Ty Jerome added 15 points and eight assists despite shooting 4-of-15 from the field, while Jaylen Wells chipped in 14 points. Cameron Boozer and Jerami Grant contributed 13 points apiece to help the Grizzlies secure the road win.

Utah faced an uphill battle after losing two of their top three scorers in the opening half. Both Lauri Markkanen and Jaren Jackson Jr. exited the game due to injuries and did not return, forcing the Jazz to rely heavily on their depth. Keyonte George stepped up to lead Utah with 26 points, while Ace Bailey recorded 17 points and 10 rebounds. Darryn Peterson and Mo Bamba each added 14 points, with Bamba also grabbing seven boards during his season debut.

Memphis built a 16-point advantage late in the third quarter following a burst of three consecutive three-pointers from Quinten Post, Cam Spencer, and Coward, stretching the margin to 87-71. However, Utah mounted a fierce comeback in the final frame, orchestrating a 15-3 run that narrowed the gap to a single possession. George converted a three-point play with 3:37 remaining to bring the score to 102-101, but consecutive baskets from Jerome prevented the Jazz from seizing the lead.

A late dunk by Bamba brought Utah within one point again with just 61 seconds on the clock. Ultimately, clutch free throws from Wells and Jerome in the closing seconds sealed the victory for Memphis. The Grizzlies look ahead to an away game against Portland on Thursday, while the Jazz return home to host San Antonio on Wednesday night.
