Wiz Khalifa has fundamentally altered his lifestyle over the last seven years, moving away from a diet of pizza and late-night studio habits to embrace a rigorous fitness commitment. The 34-year-old rapper now trains five to six days a week at Unbreakable Performance, an MMA gym located in West Hollywood, where he focuses on gaining strength and muscle mass.
Since starting his journey in 2017, Khalifa has increased his weight by 30 pounds, reaching 170 pounds. He views his training as a continuous learning process, studying techniques and methods to optimize his results. His current goal is to add another 15 pounds of muscle to his six-foot-four frame.
Working with trainer Zach Goetz, the artist follows a structured 90-minute session. His weekly split targets legs and core on Mondays, chest, shoulders, or arms on Tuesdays, and back and core on Wednesdays, repeating the cycle through Saturday. He emphasizes bodyweight resistance exercises, such as inverted rows, to build his back and arms.
Every workout concludes with 30 minutes of high-intensity kickboxing to elevate his heart rate. Beyond the physical gains, Khalifa credits the gym with improving his mental state, noting that the physical exertion helps him clear his mind and sparks new creative ideas for his music and business ventures.
The rapper maintains this discipline even while touring or during late-night recording sessions by utilizing portable equipment or his home gym. This commitment ensures that his fitness remains a priority regardless of his professional schedule or location.
